Matt DiGirolamo is a passionate user advocate, researcher, and designer. He has five years of experience in the field working in a mix of industries and company types, striving to understand his target customer while balancing business objectives and user goals. Matt uses data and research to help create usable, desirable, and useful experiences. He has experience in many qualitative and quantitative methods to answer business questions while focusing on best practices, industry trends, and cognitive behavior. Matt has a passionate, impact driven, and empathetic approach to his relationships and work to make technology work for people while providing solid business results.
Matt is currently a Senior User Experience Researcher at HubSpot. Before that, he spent 4 years at Vistaprint where he helped a small research team expand methodologies, increase output, and drive an efficient agile research workflow. He received his B.S. in Engineering Psychology and Biomedical Engineering from Tufts University in 2011. Matt just received his M.S. in Information Architecture and Knowledge Management, User Experience Design from Kent State University in August 2016.
Matt is heavily involved in his community; he is on the Board of Directors for UXPA Boston, where he will serve a 3 year term from 2017-2019 and manage Digital Marketing and Communications. As the President of Tufts Alumni Boston, Matt also brings fellow Jumbos together throughout the year with different events.
